KathNiel KFC Commercial

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sykEK3C0XU
KFC or Kentucky Fried Chicken Corporation is one of the most famous and successful restaurants in America. KFC has a decade-long story of success. It all started with one great cook, Colonel Harland Sanders. His flavorful recipe with secret herbs and spices has made it successful. There are more than 18,000 KFC outlets in 115 countries including The Philippines. KFC is well known in the Philippines because of it's Original Fried Chicken Recipe, we Filipinos love delicious fried chickens! I have seen many KFC commercials on t.v. and one of my favorite is the Kathniel KFC commercial #sogoodtogether.
No, I didn't like it because I'm a fan, I loved the commercial because every time i see this commercial it just gives me this really good vibe and then later I'll be like "hey, I wanna eat in KFC tahday!". I all seriousness it really is kinda catchy especially with the Teen Queen, Katheryn Bernardo and Teen King, Daniel Padilla endorsing it! They used a testimonial strategy which was really effective because Kathniel has lotss of fans. They also used a song in the commercial and that kind of explains why i have this teeny-good vibes whenever I see the commercial on t.v.
A testimonial kind of commercial is a technique in which famous people endorse a product. It's a sure worth of a shot if it;s testimonial cause duh famous people. but sometime you still have to choose the right artist or famous person to endorse your product. I mean it's important, for example, would you buy a napkin product if a boy is endorsing it? Oh shoot, I know one and i dont know if it has been effective.. well other examples would be; would you buy a product of hard beer if pikachu was endorsing it?! Ofcourse not! many people would be mad especially children. But you know, my point is KFC has done a really Good Job in creating this commercial, it's really nice and lovely to watch. it's one of those commercials that when it interrupts youre favorite you'll be just "nah it's fine".

Bingo Cookie Commercial "Now and Then"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GlFqkeRAHFM
The Product Bingo Cookie Sandwich is from the Monde Nissin Corporation. The Bingo cookie sandwich has been there since I was just in elementary school. I remember my favorite flavor is the Bingo Orange Cookie, it has an orange flavor filling and it's very delicious. I also still remember some of it's commercial and I can tell that it's more of a romantic commercial kind of way which shows two lovers end up together because of the product. But one of my MOST FAVORITE commercial of all time is the "Now and Then" Bingo Cookie Commercial!
The "Now and Then" Bingo commercial is so cool. What I really love about this commercial is that they used normal people to endorse the product which is kinda cool because it's kind of showing watchers that those two people can be us. The setting is very wonderful, with all those graffiti and skateboarding it'll give teens a really exciting vibe. The story was awesome too, it's a story between a boy and girl who fell in love with each other in a really cute kinda way. I also loved the music, when i first heard it I just fell in love with it because it's really nakakakilig! #KILIGSASWEET!
Their strategy was to make a commercial very appealing to the eyes of the young folks, who else wants to buy the sandwich? So they used a love story to endorse the product. And they want to put at the back of teenagers heads that if you buy this product you may then experience this kind of love story, and hey it's not impossible because most of teens these days grew up with t.v. and they just watch unrealistic romantic movies which makes them all hopeless romantics who believes in destiny and such fairy tales.. I'm just saying.. Or maybe because the commercial is so cool they'd just remember it when they buy in sari-sari stores and say "hey, I remembered that cool bingo commercial, i want a bingo right now." Yeah there could be other reasons but what I'm saying is that it's cool to see commercials who don't use famous celebs to endorse it and is still very appealing. Thumbs up for this commercial because it is #KILIGSASWEET.

Finally Ariel

In the Philippines, many soaps and detergents are available in the market. Each has different promising formula to help in cleaning and making the clothes whiter. They are also in a tight competition when it comes to pricing their products. The companies are exerting extra effort when it comes to the endorsments of the products. Some strategies includes hiring actors and actresses so that the product would be remembered by their charismatic appeal. The packaging also another factor when it comes to endorsing products so it can easily be distinguished.
One of the most famous detergents known in the Philippines is Ariel. Among all Ariel ads I’ve seen on tv, its newest commercial is the most popular. After its initial release, the commercial gained the attention of the market. The products TV commercial is considered as a new way of showcasing the brand, which is by using a song which was different from the usual story telling. As seen on the Ad, the characters were all mothers, washing clothes while singing the very lively and catchy jingle. Another main focuses was the brand’s decrease in price. The detergent which only costs 7.50 pesos per sachets became in demand because of its affordability. The ad is also promoting its fast stain fighting formula which is a great help for those who does not use washing machines while doing laundry.
When a company is endorsing a product it has to be proven. It’s advertising strategies should be effective. But it’s not just about how a company makes the commercial, it’s how they fulfill the promises they make to their customers. Every brand should build a reputation by proving that a product is effective. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIjZImAyoKs

Old commercial Vs. New commercial of McDonalds

Name one well-known brand worldwide. A company that never fails to surprise you whenever a new Ad comes out. Yes you got me, McDonalds. The burger chain that has conquered the world. With more than 36,000 branches in the worldwide, I am sure that you can't say you ain't lovin' it! The iconic food chain has been promoting it's tag line "I'm lovin it" or known in the Philippines as "love ko 'to". For the past years, we've seen numerous commercials wherein the aim is too obvious- to sell their products. But what sets McDonalds apart from them? In this blog entry, I will assess McDonald's uniqueness when it comes to creating campaigns, that are truly "heart warming", the one that can shoot directly in our hearts. I will compare the commercial from 2008 which is know as "Karen Po" by Karen Delos Reyes and its latest commercial ad, the "Mcmcmcdo" by Nino and Alonzo Muhlach. We will try to analyze the effectiveness and the consistency of the commercials. Also to know what is the role of the present media in commercial advertising.
Upon watching both t.v. commercials I can say that both are very catchy and family oriented. "Karen Po" from 2008 shows Karen and his grandfather eating in Mcdonalds. The old man mistakes Karen as her mother Gina, but Karen keeps telling his grandfather that she is Karen. The old man saves a piece for his favorite grand daughter Karen. This made Karen smile because she thought her grandfather forgot her. This commercial from 2008 is very heartwarming because it shows filipino culture that we are close to our elders. Moving on with "Mcmcmcdo" commercial, we can see Alonzo bugging his dad from work to remind him to bring him Chicken McDo on his way home. This commercial is very funny and cute, its a kind of ad that you would want to watch over and over again. Both commercials are very family oriented but they still have different impact on viewers. The 2008 commercial is a little blurry and the lightings are dim but the 2015 commercial is very bright and vivid which is very acceptable because technology is much greater today.
Although having great multimedia equipments in creating advertisement is an advantage, we should still consider the story because it will all just come to waste if we dont have a great story to work on. McDonald's campaign "love ko to" is still very effective up to this day. It is still about different tags of love and its still very family oriented. The Company has conquered minds of filipinos that when they want to eat out they will think of Mcdonalds. Their strategies of reaching out to people is truly amazing because they have been making customers very happy and satisfied. No wonder im still lovin it!
